We run a student bus service with three routes in Calgary and surrounding areas. Pick up points are scattered along each route and chosen so no child is on the bus for more than an hour.
The school operates its community-based bus service using the CFIS-owned fleet of one van and three school buses (two 72 passenger busses and a mini-bus for 24 passengers) used for before and after school transportation as well as field trips.

Due to the large area our school population comes from, we cannot always accommodate requests for closer pick-up points and door-to-door service is not provided. The yearly bus routes and schedules are based on applications received up to mid-June for the following school year.
Casual riders may purchase tickets for one-way trips for a fee. To purchase tickets and for the current rate, please see the CFIS Main Office. Advanced notice to ride the bus for casual riders in order that we may inform the appropriate driver. Please note that service is not available at lunchtime or on Professional Development days.
For those parents interested in using City Public Transit, Cougar Ridge is serviced by Calgary Transit Route 453 with a bus stop located directly west of the school on 77th Street.
