IMPORTANT QUESTIONS...
Some important questions remain. Finding answers to these and other questions will be the focus of the next phase of the strategy.
- What are the values that describe our school community?
- How do we maintain and improve (or “not deteriorate”) the current level of education provided?
- Within the broader Calgary community, what are the viable progression paths of CFIS students (including incoming and outgoing students and at what grade levels?)
- Do we clearly understand the key reasons why people are coming to, staying with or leaving CFIS?
- Who does CFIS serve, and who does CFIS want to serve?
- What is the anticipated demographic of the CFIS grade 12 graduate (academic, artistic, athletic, socially responsible and so on?)
- Does our school community need to address concepts such as “pluralism”, “diversity”, or “unified organizational culture”?
- Who are the stakeholders in maintaining a current strategic plan?
