The objects of the CFIS Advancement Society are:.

• To donate funds to qualified donees and registered charities, recognized by Revenue Canada, who are carrying on their objects or charitable work in Canada; and
• To raise funds from private sponsors (individual and corporate) to both fund the above listed activities directly and through the establishment of directed endowment gifts.

MISSION: To advance the development of language learning by supporting the delivery of exceptional multi-language programmes for elementary, junior and senior high students who will ultimately contribute to Calgary and Canada's competitive advantage.

VISION: To provide for the advancement and development of language learning through the acquisition and distribution of funds to support multi-language programs for students of all ages.

Board of Directors

Elections for positions on the CFIS Advancement Society's Board are held at the Annual General Meeting in November each year. Please contact the Board Secretary if you are interested in applying.

Grade 12 Scholarship 2013

The CFIS Grade 12 Scholarship was established by Calgary French & International School (CFIS) through the auspices of the Calgary French & International School Advancement Society. Its purpose is to annually recognize a student graduating from Grade 12 at CFIS, based on a combination of academic performance, community spirit, and leadership skills.

The deadline for applications is 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 13th, 2013. Completed applications should be delivered or mailed to the attention of:
