CFIS is associated with three separate and distinct registered non-profit charitable organizations. They are the Calgary French & International School Society, the Calgary International Language Foundation, and the Calgary French & International School Advancement Society. Each has its own specific mandate and Board of Directors. Members of each Board are elected at Annual General Meetings held in November. 

	The CFIS Society's mandate is to establish and maintain educational facilities for teaching and instruction in the French language and to operate as an educational institution which administers and employs its programs and activities to provide and encourage the French language and culture.
	The Foundation manages and maintains the physical assets it owns, specifically the building and the libraries leased to the Calgary French & International School Society.
	The Advancement Society fundraises and holds endowments to support the advancement of the French language.
