The CFIS Advancement Society distributes awards and scholarships annually to students and teachers.

The Madame Lorraine Teacher's Fund

Mme Lorraine was a dedicated preschool teacher at Calgary French School from 1994 until 2003 when she died tragically in a car accident on Friday, July 18, 2003. Her spirit and wisdom inspired and nurtured everyone she touched. This fund is made up of donations made in memory of Mme Lorraine LeGuerrier and includes 10% of the past annual proceeds from the Mme Lorraine Memorial Fun Run. Future deposits into this fund will be based upon the fundraising plans of CFIS Advancement Society.

AWARD: One award per year of $300.

ELIGIBILITY: This award is open to teachers employed at Calgary French & International School. The award is to be put towards Professional Development courses.
